Day 1: Legendary Lodge (Arusha)
Your connected adventure begins at Legendary Lodge, a timeless sanctuary nestled within the tropical gardens of a historical coffee plantation on the foothills of Mount Meru. The peaceful garden cottages offer a secluded haven from which to prepare for your safari. Take time to unwind, enjoy the many amenities or explore.
Day 2: Little Chem Chem (Burunge WMA)
Surrender to the experience of a ‘slow safari’ at Little Chem Chem, a beautiful vintage safari camp on the shores of Lake Burunge, where comfort and consideration is woven into every experience. Enjoy your choice of game drives, game walks or night drives before returning for a magical, lantern-lit dinner of culinary perfection.
Day 3: Little Chem Chem (Burunge WMA)
Spend time with your private guide and discover the diversity of the 30,000-acre concession, delighting in intimate encounters with herds of big tuskers and an abundance of game. A visit to a local Maasai village allows you to explore the depth, richness and vibrant traditions of their ancient culture. Savour the tranquillity and rhythmic pace of African life.
Day 4: Little Chem Chem (Burunge WMA)
Opt for a sunrise hill climb and watch from the summit as the villages below come to life as dawn breaks. After a leisurely breakfast upon your return, simply sit back and watch the abundant plains game come and go in front of your tent. Before dinner, enjoy iconic sundowners on the edge of Lake Burunge.
Day 5: Songa Tented Camp (Northern Serengeti)
Songa Tented Camp is your home for the next few nights: an authentic, explorer-style tented camp located in the rolling wilderness of the northern Serengeti. Experience the thrill of adventure and exploration in one of Africa’s most renowned landscapes, with Songa blending carefully considered creature comforts with exhilarating proximity to nature.
Day 6: Songa Tented Camp (Northern Serengeti)
Head out for an early-morning expedition to explore the vast wilderness, tracking the abundant herds and the predators that follow them. While the northern Serengeti is also well known for its year-round game, the drama of the famed river crossings can be witnessed between July and October each year.
Day 7: Songa Tented Camp (Northern Serengeti)
Spend your final day at Songa Tented Camp soaking up the spectacular Serengeti scenery. Head out on a game drive through the hills and plains, stop for lunch on the banks of the Mara River, and round off your visit with a special sundowner experience overlooking the golden savannahs before returning to the welcoming campfire set under a blanket of stars.
Day 8 : Mwiba Lodge (Mwiba Wildlife Reserve)
Arrive at Mwiba Lodge, Legendary Expedition’s flagship property located on a private wildlife reserve adjoining the southern Serengeti. Set atop massive granite rocks, surrounded by ancient candelabra trees and overlooking a rocky river gorge. Settle in to your private suite, visit the fully-equipped gym or relax with a treatment at the in-house spa.
Day 9: Mwiba Lodge (Mwiba Wildlife Reserve)
Explore the magic of the nearly 130,000-acre Mwiba Wildlife Reserve whether by vehicle or by foot, or take the opportunity to experience an immersive cultural excursion and see the land through the eyes of the Datoga and Hadzabe tribes. A truly refreshing and enriching experience.
Day 10: Mwiba Lodge (Mwiba Wildlife Reserve)
Make the most of this captivating lodge by taking a dip in rim-flow pool or the romantic jacuzzi, both overlooking the natural springs and wilderness below. Spend some quiet time in the library or simply relish the gourmet dining as you savour the tales of your safari.
Day 11: End Your Itinerary
As your Connected Adventure comes to a close, bid farewell to the endless horizon and prepare for your onward journey.

Luxury en-suite accommodation at Legendary Lodge includes: breakfast, dinner, coffee, tea, mini bar stocked with soft drinks and water, and Wi-Fi internet access. Luxury en-suite accommodation at Little Chem Chem, Songa Tented Camp and Mwiba Lodge includes: all meals, bottled water, soft drinks, house wines, locally available spirits and beers, coffee, tea, laundry service and Wi-Fi Internet access, and a complimentary massage (at Mwiba Lodge only).
2. TRANSFERS
All lodge transfers to and from the closest airstrip or airport, as well as internal scheduled flights, are included for the duration of this journey.
3. EXPERIENCES
All safari activities and game drives with a private guide and dedicated safari vehicle, cultural excursions, park fees and conservation fees per night.
