The climb

The full
Kilimanjaro expedition.

The ten-day Northern Circuit is the longest and most complete way to climb Kilimanjaro. It circles almost the whole mountain, from the western forests to the wild northern slopes, with very few other trekkers.

The slow ascent gives the best acclimatisation of any route. The highlight is a night at Crater Camp (5,790 m), just below Uhuru Peak, beside the Rebmann Glacier and the Ash Pit — an unforgettable expedition for those ready for extreme altitude.

Day 1: Arrival in Moshi

Welcome to Kilimanjaro

Our team meets you at Kilimanjaro International Airport and drives you to your hotel in Moshi, the gateway town to the mountain.
